William E. (Bill) Felder, CPA

President / Chief Executive Officer 

Bill Felder has more than 30 years of experience in practice management for healthcare professionals. In 1995, at the request of his anesthesiology clients, Bill founded Compass Anesthesia Services Group, Inc.

Bill is directly involved with the formation, management, and development of anesthesiology groups in and around the Houston, Dallas, and Denver markets. He negotiates managed care contracts, hospital anesthesia services agreements, and subsidy agreements on behalf of many of the groups we represent.

Prior to his involvement with healthcare, he was the manager of taxation and partnerships at a publicly traded oil and gas company in Houston for 10 years.

Bill is actively involved in several medical, anesthesia, and CPA member organizations, and he is also active in community service and outreach. He is a graduate of Lamar University.

Laura Lauderdale, CPA

Chief Financial Officer

Laura Lauderdale joined Compass Anesthesia Services Group in 2017 and currently serves as Chief Financial Officer. Under her direction, all financial and economic activities are executed, ensuring long-term strength and viability for Compass Anesthesia, as well as the practices we represent.

Laura began her career in public accounting with Ernst and Young in Houston, serving both public and private clients. Laura graduated Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and her Master of Science in Accounting from Texas A&M University.

Kimberly Denard, CPPM

Chief Analytics Officer

Kimberly Denard has been with Compass Anesthesia Services Group since 1999 and currently serves as Chief Analytics Officer.

Kimberly provides tremendous depth in management and client support capabilities, often serving as the front-line contact for Compass Anesthesia, as well as the practices we represent.

Kimberly started her career in accounting and financial management in the College Station and Houston markets. She is a graduate of Texas A&M University.

Amy Felder

Corporate Controller

Amy Felder joined Compass Anesthesia Services Group in 2024. As Corporate Controller, Amy oversees all internal accounting for Compass. Additionally, Amy provides support for our clients in the accounting and financial reporting areas.

Amy began her career in public accounting with Deloitte and Touche in Houston, serving both public and private energy clients. Amy graduated with her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and her Master of Science in Financial Management from Texas A&M University.
